FOR MUNICIPAL DEPOSITORY

CITY OF INDIANOLA, MISSISSIPPI

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL QUALIFIED FINANCIAL

INSTITUTIONS that the City of Indianola, Mississippi, shall receive sealed bids to serve

as municipal depository for the City of Indianola, Mississippi.

The term for municipal depository shall be for (2) years and thereafter until new

arrangements shall be made in accordance with law. All bidders shall comply with the

laws of the State of Mississippi, and specifically, Sections 27-105-305 and 27-105-353 of

the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended.

The bids or proposals shall designate the kind of security as authorized by law

which the bidder proposes to give as security for municipal funds, as well as method of

computing interest on said accounts. Bidders should certify that they are qualified to be a

City Depository as set out by Section 27-105-315 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as

amended.

Such bids or proposals as the financial institution may make for the privilege of

keeping municipal funds, or any part thereof shall be received by sealed bid marked

“Depository Bid”, in City Hall, Office of the City Clerk, 101 Front Street, Indianola,

Mississippi 38751, on or before the meeting of the Mayor and the Board of Aldermen at

7:00 p.m., January 12, 2026.

The Mayor and the Board of Aldermen reserves the right to reject any and all bids

and to waive any irregularities in the bids.
