NOTICE INVITING BIDS

FOR

Backflow Testing and Repair services

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF TRACY (hereinafter "City") requests bids for BACKFLOW TESTING AND REPAIR SERVICES (hereinafter “Project”) and will receive bids in the office of the Parks, Recreation, & Community Services Department, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, CA, 95376, ATTN: Roy Valadez, Management Analyst II, up to the hour of 4 p.m. (Pacific Standard), January 26, 2026.

2. The services to be performed by the successful proposer(s) are described in the Notice Inviting Bids (which is attached). Copies of the Notice are available at the Parks, Recreation, & Community Services Department and online at www.cityoftracy.org/government/rfp-notices . Any questions should be directed to Roy Valadez, Management Analyst II, at (209) 831-6288 or via email roy.valadez@cityoftracy.org no later than 4 p.m., January 05, 2026.

3. Bids shall be submitted and clearly marked on the outside of a sealed envelope as follows “SEALED BID FORBACKFLOW TESTING AND REPAIR SERVICES – DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL.”

4. Bidders shall submit a bid bond and if your are a successful bidder, you will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the maximum Contract price, and warranty bond for 10% of the maximum Contract price.

5. All responsive submittals shall be reviewed and evaluated by the City in order to determine which bidder best meets the City’s needs by demonstrating the competence and professional qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the required services. The criteria by which the City shall evaluate submittals are set forth in this Notice.

6. The City reserves the right to reject any and all submittals or waive any irregularities in any submittal, this Notice, or the submittal process.
