Backflow Testing and Repair Services

The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking quotes for the testing, repair, and installation of backflow prevention devices located throughout the City. The City currently owns 434 devices, which must be tested annually by a certified tester in accordance with the State Water Resources Control Board’s Cross-Connection Control Policy Handbook.

The City of Thousand Oaks is located in eastern Ventura County and encompasses approximately 56 square miles with a population of about 122,000 residents. It is a general law city operating under the Council-Manager form of government, with a five-member City Council elected by district and one member serving as Mayor on a rotating, annual basis. Water service within the City is provided by three separate purveyors, depending on geographic location.
