Description:
The Catawba Nation is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide engineering and FEMA grant support services for a Backup Power Generation Resiliency Project under FEMA's Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) Program. Services include facility assessments, electrical load studies, generator feasibility evaluations, conceptual design, cost estimating, and technical assistance to develop a competitive BRIC grant application.
Pre-Bid Information:
The Catawba Nation seeks to enhance resilience and continuity of operations during disasters, severe weather, and utility outages through permanent standby emergency power systems at critical tribal facilities. The project includes evaluation and design support for backup power at the Public Works, Transit, Food Distribution facilities, IHS Clinic, Medical Office Building, Lodge, ISWA Housing Facility, Teen Ctr. The consultant will also assess relocation and reuse of existing diesel generators.
