The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting bids from qualified contractors to construct repairs to the ice rink roofs at Willow and Talkeetna locations per the engineer’s drawings. The work includes structural repairs, including beam and purlin replacements, as well as metal roofing repairs, are required at the Willow Ice Rink, while the Talkeetna Ice Rink necessitates the replacement of Z-purlins with C-channel members, repairs/replacements of flashing and sheeting, and the addition of a steel girt for reinforcement.
