B35 Wash Rack #02 Construction

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the B35 Wash Rack 02 Construction located at, 11206 Lexington Drive, Los Alamitos, CA 90720.  Work to include: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and supervision to complete the demolition and construction of wash rack 02 at Joint Forces Training Base.  All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov with the subject title BID FOR EVENT# 36271 - DO NOT OPEN.

Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 8/13/2025, at 10:00 AM at, 11206 Lexington Drive, Los Alamitos, CA 90720. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location by the scheduled start time may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Prospective bidders shall not proceed directly to the job site unless directed to do so in writing by the Contracting Officer. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Robert Hawkins at Robert.Hawkins@cmd.ca.gov.

Prospective bidders shall meet behind Building 244, just East of the Main Gate Entrance sign in and receive the briefing before caravanning to the job site. Once the pre-bid job walk has concluded, all bidders must sign out with the Contracting Officer to be considered responsive to the bidding requirements of this IFB.

Prospective bidders MUST sign-in prior to the start of the pre-bid job walk, attend the entire pre-bid job walk and be present for roll call at the conclusion of the pre-bid job walk. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk will be considered non-responsive and will not be allowed to bid on this project.

The prime contractor MUST possess a type B - General Building Contractor license, or subcontract to one.

All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Robert Hawkins, at Robert.Hawkins@cmd.ca.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 8/27/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 36271.

If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 9/10/2025 at 2:00 PM.
