Summary

The CITY OF LAKELAND is seeking bids from a qualified manufacturer to design, manufacture, deliver and install a system for two (2) travelling screens that meet all requirements of the “Best Technology Available” per the terms of 316(b) of the Clean Water Act in place of two currently existing non-compliant screens. The Screens will be installed at the Larsen Power Plant, 2002 US-92, Lakeland, FL 33801 to supply the cooling water pumps from Lake Parker. The Screens are needed to replace the existing non-compliant travelling screen system with a new system that meets the requirements for “Best Available Technology” as defined by Section 316(b) of the Clean Water Act and meets § 125.92(s) .
