The City of Meriden requests bids from qualified contractors to inspect, inventory, maintain and repair streetlights in the City of Meriden.
The City of Meriden owns and maintains a street light network consisting of approximately:
- 4,200 LED streetlights (LED cobra heads installed in 2016).
- 300 LED decorative street lights.
- 100 LED post top streetlights (on fiberglass pole).
- 50 non‑LED flood lights.
- 750 poles (mostly underground electric service).
