Project 24-17.9B – 69kV The Site Substation – Major Equipment

Electronic, emailed and paper bids for the 69kV The Site Substation – Major Equipment

project #24-17.9B for the City of Piqua, Ohio, will be received until 10:00am on Monday,

October 12, 2026, at which time they will be opened and the results read aloud and

posted on the Bid Express system.

In general, the proposed work consists of furnishing major equipment for the Piqua

69kV The Site Substation Project – Major Equipment #24-17.9B for the City of Piqua,

Ohio.

Bids may be submitted via the following methods only:

1. Electronically via Bid Express - www.bidexpress.com - An electronic signature is

required along with a per-bid fee, or a monthly subscription fee for the Bidder to

submit an electronic bid.

2. Electronically via email, with the subject line stating DUE DATE and TIME, the

BID PACKAGE, and “DO NOT OPEN”

3. Hard copy, delivered in a sealed envelope marked as shown above.

Bids submitted in any manner other than those described above will not be accepted.

www.bidexpress.com for Bidders’ reference.

No Bidder shall withdraw their Bid after the actual opening thereof.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive irregularities in any Bid, and to

accept any Bid that is deemed by the City to be most favorable to the City.
