19199 AWOS III P/T Construction - Phase I #17772

The City of Columbus is requesting sealed bids for AWOS III P/T Construction - Phase I. All bids will be received by the City of Columbus at the Columbus-Lowndes County Airport (368 Fabritek Drive, Columbus, MS 39702) until 10:00 AM Local Time on March 28, 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the specified time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

The work is generally described as follows:

Base Bid – Clearing and Grubbing of approximately 13.9 acres.
Additive Alternate No. 1 – Construct equipment yard building pad and gravel drive.

The contract time for the Bid is 60 calendar days. Liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 will be assessed for each consecutive calendar day thereafter.

A pre-bid meeting is planned for this project on March 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM. at the Columbus-Lowndes County Airport. It is strongly recommended that prospective bidders attend the pre-bid conference and perform a site visit.
