Description: Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: The Work to be performed under this Contract may be briefly described as providing all work, labor, and materials on a per Work Order basis for autobody repair of New York City Transit Authority (NYCT) light duty non-revenue support fleet vehicles (herein referred to as NYCT vehicles or Authority vehicles). Included in the Work and price shall be all pickup, transportation, and delivery expenses to and from the Authority as well as all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals and overhead costs and expenses in performing the Work. The Work shall be performed as specified in the Contract Documents and at the production rate as specified in section 8.0, Time for Comple??on and Delivery. Over six hundred (600+) light-duty NYCT vehicles are subject to this Contract and are listed respectively on Attachment A.3 (NYCT SFS Vehicle Directory) appended hereto. Over time, vehicles will be added to and deleted from the coverage of this Contract. For this procurement, the inventories have not been reviewed for accuracy or completeness but are believed to be reasonably accurate. The Contractor shall supply all labor, tools, plant, replacement parts, materials, transportation and equipment, necessary to repair NYCT vehicles that incur repairable body damage due to accidents, vandalism, deterioration, and other causes. Such repair actions shall include, but not be limited to, bumpers, headlamps, fenders, unibody/frame, cooling and heating systems, body panels, flooring, electrical wiring and dash boards, exhaust systems, wheels and suspension systems, steering, glass, mirrors and ornaments, fuel systems, seats and interior trim, partitions, grill lights, strobe lights, spotlights, sirens, decals/striping, and wheel alignments. The Contractor shall perform all Work in accordance with the Contract Documents and Attachment A.2 (Technical Specifications) appended hereto.
