Automatic Door Openers Installation - JFHQ

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the Automatic Door Openers Installation - JFHQ located at Joint Forces Headquarters, 10601 Bear Hollow Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, electrical, protective covering, transportation, licenses, or permits necessary to remove existing manual operating materials/equipment and install push bar automatic door opener systems and associated equipment at the following entrances.  All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov with the subject title BID FOR EVENT# 35857 - DO NOT OPEN.

Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 6/16/2025, at 10:00 AM at Joint Forces Headquarters, 10601 Bear Hollow Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location by the scheduled start time may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Prospective bidders shall not proceed directly to the job site unless directed to do so in writing by the Contracting Officer. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Sergey Kinchak at Sergey.Kinchak@cmd.ca.gov.

Prospective bidders MUST sign-in prior to the start of the pre-bid job walk, attend the entire pre-bid job walk and be present for roll call at the conclusion of the pre-bid job walk. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk will be considered non-responsive and will not be allowed to bid on this project.

Contractor shall possess a current and in good standing California License Board issued D-28 Doors - Gates and Activating Device and C-10 Electrical.  D- 28 may have a C-10 subcontractor.  A B-General Contractor Licensee may have D-28 and C-10 subcontractors.

All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Sergey Kinchak, at Sergey.Kinchak@cmd.ca.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 6/19/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 35857.

If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 6/26/2025 at 12:00 PM.
