Automated Ballistic Identification System
Questions and Concerns received from Data Management Resources, LLC on May 1, 2026.
1. Does GPD currently have an Automated Ballistics Identification System in place? If so, what system is in
use?
Response: The Guam Police Department (GPD) does not have an existing Automated Ballistic
Identification System in use.
2. Relative to Item 1.1, IFB indicates “Must include computer workstation with sufficient storage space for
at least 40,000 scans, the capability for expanded storage options, and 32GB professional GPU or better.”
Please specify the minimum storage capacity for bidders to be compliant with this requirement.
Response: See Amendment #2.
3. Relative to Item 1.1, IFB indicates “Must include ruggedized laptop computer workstation with sufficient
storage space for at least 10,000 scans, the capability for expanded storage options, and ability to transfer
scans to a primary database.” Please specify the minimum storage capacity for bidders to be compliant
with this requirement.

4. Relative to Item 1.1 Installation and Training, IFB specifies “Must provide installation and initial
troubleshooting, which may be conducted remotely or on-site…”
a. Please define the scope of installation.
Response: See Amendment #2.
b. Is installation required for all hardware?
Response: Yes.
c. Please confirm or clarify that “remotely” refers to troubleshooting only.
Response: Remotely does not refer solely to troubleshooting.
5. Relative to Item 2.1 Extended Warranty Service for Maintenance and Service, please confirm or clarify if
the specification for “hardware warranties” is inclusive of the “computer workstation”, “flat panel monitor
and “ruggedized laptop computer workstation” in Item 1.1.
a. Please specify all “hardware” for which this extended warranty is required.

6. Please clarify how many users are required to be trained.
