Notice of Intent to Sole Source.
The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, Miami VA Medical Center, 1201 NW 16th St, Miami, FL 33125 intends to award a firm fixed price sole source Contract to Florida Lions Eye Bank, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to provide Autologous Serum Eye Drops. The estimated value of the acquisition is $96,200.00. All values are estimates and will fluctuate depending on actual usage.
The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339115, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees.
A determination by the Government not to compete this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) soliciting from one source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available, and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can provide the requested supplies may submit written notice to john.quijadajr@va.gov
