Summary

The City of Pasadena, Department of Public Works (Building Systems & Fleet Management Division) is seeking bids from qualified and authorized vendors to provide the following:

  • Genuine OEM Gasboy parts, supplies, and accessories
  • Authorized Gasboy service and repairs for fuel dispensers, card readers, and related equipment
  • Gasboy fuel nozzle repair, replacement, and service support
  • Wireless nozzle and fuel-ring reader repair, replacement, and related services

"OEM" (Original Equipment Manufacturer) refers to genuine parts manufactured by or for Gasboy that meet the original design and performance specifications. "Authorized Service" refers to maintenance and repairs that are performed by vendors certified by Gasboy to maintain the manufacturer's warranty and ensure proper operation of the equipment.

The awarded vendor shall provide timely parts availability, repair services, and preventative maintenance to ensure safe, reliable fueling of City fleet equipment. The contract term is for five (5) years.

Background

The City operates and manages approximately 1,100 vehicles in its Fleet. Pasadena’s Fleet Management team performs repair and maintenance services on City vehicles and equipment on a routine (planned) and emergency (unplanned) basis. To support fueling operations, the City operates approximately four (4) fuel islands equipped with Gasboy wireless nozzle reader technology used to track fuel distribution to vehicles via wireless fuel-ring systems. Reliable operation of the Gasboy wireless fueling system is essential to maintaining accurate fuel report, reducing unauthorized fueling, and supporting departmental fleet operations.
