Description: The City of McAllen is seeking proposals for external auditing services pursuant to the Single Audit Act, preparation and review of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.

Proposal Submittal Deadline: Sealed electronic proposals addressed to Mr. Isaac J. Tawil, City Manager, will be received until Friday, May 8, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., Central Standard Time (CST) at which time they shall be publicly opened in a meeting held in McAllen City Hall, 2nd floor, Conference Room 2A. Once registered, you will also be added to the solicitation distribution list for changes and/or additions via Addenda form.

Potential respondents are asked to post their questions on our bidding portal under the tab labeled “Clarifications” under the relative project number .

The City of McAllen reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all proposals and to waive any or all formalities or technicalities, or to accept the proposal considered the best value to the City, and to hold the proposals for a period of ninety ( 90 ) calendar days without taking action .
