Audio Visual Equipment and Software

The JCC Police Department (PD) has audio/visual equipment that is at least 13 years old. This includes projectors, whiteboards, smartboards, televisions, etc. Laptops are used with VGA connections in conference rooms and classrooms for meeting/training presentations (one room is HDMI) - no wireless presentations are currently possible. A portable cart is currently used for group meetings (Microsoft Teams, Zoom).

The PD is exploring options for the purchase of audio/visual equipment to be installed in different areas within the Law Enforcement Center (LEC)  building, as well as removal of outdated equipment. The main utilities the LEC staff would like to address are the ability to do wireless presenting and video conferencing in gathering areas. The LEC would like to implement a public and employee engagement (or messaging) system that will get information (such as announcements, events and information) pertaining to the public safety department to employees and the public in those areas. Another goal is to set up a scheduling system that will display meeting times and schedules for the classrooms and conference rooms.
