Public Sale and Auction

The Town of Acton will be offering for public sale surplus items and supplies on July 20, 2026 at 472 Main Street, Acton, MA. Interested parties can view and bid on items by searching “Acton, MA” on www.municibid.com .

Surplus items for sale at the Town Hall may include, but are not limited to, electronics and miscellaneous items of general interest. All items will be sold “as is” and “where is” without warranties of any kind, and fitness for a particular purpose, and some items may be in need of some repairs. Items are available for inspection during normal business hours for the Town Hall. Winning bidders are responsible for transporting all items.

Bidding is open through August 7, 2026. The surplus supplies will be awarded to the responsive bidder offering the highest price for the items. The Town of Acton reserves the right to reject any and all bids and dispose of the vehicle through a negotiated sale, provided that the negotiated sale price is higher than the highest bid received from a responsive bidder.

Successful bidders are expected to render payment through www.municibid.com .

The Town reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any and all bids, if the Town determines that cancellation or rejection is in the best interests of the Town and to waive minor informalities.
