Asphalt Plant No. 1 - Phase 2

This Design-Build project consists of demolition, hazardous material mitigation, design, and construction of a new Asphalt Plant No. 1 – Phase 2 Recycled Asphalt Pavement (RAP) plant facility on a 40,631.40 square feet site area at 25th Street and Harriet Street to provide additional processing, storage, and operational space increasing the overall RAP production capabilities. The new facility will entail a 1-story 22,780 square feet enclosed solar powered canopy building with rooftop fall prevention system, office, restrooms, utility connections, concrete bins, security features such as fence, gate, camera, and lighting and other site improvements including the street improvement with AASHTO HS-20 truck loading-rated foundation, driveways, pavement, truck route, sidewalks, parking, trash enclosure, an operation area, street lighting, driveways, landscaping with irrigation system, operation and maintenance services, and procurement, delivery, assembly, and installation of truck scale.
