Asphalt Parking Lot Bid

The City of Moberly, Missouri (“City”), is inviting bids from qualified vendors for the following

“Water Works Lake Parking Lot”

The City of Moberly desires to expand the current Water Works Lake Parking lot as depicted in the drawings and specifications provided by the City of Moberly.

During construction, Contractor is responsible for barricading and signing the workspace to ensure the safety of the general public and providing for erosion protection around the project site and lake shore.

Please provide the following bids:

• A base bid for the project as prescribed in the attached documents.
• An alternate for milling and overlaying a 2” lift on the existing parking lot. This 2” overlay should be a uniform 2” layer with the final 2” lift on the expanded parking lot prescribed in the base bid.

Quotation Opening

Quotations will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on Friday January 9, 2026. Quotations received after this date and time will be rejected. It shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder to have their Quotation delivered to the City Clerk for receipt on or before the due date and time indicated. If a Quotation is sent by U.S. Mail, the bidder shall be responsible for its timely delivery to the City Clerk’s office. Quotations delayed by mail shall not be considered, shall not be opened, and shall be rejected.

Quotations shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with “Water Works Lake Parking Lot,” the bidder’s legal company name, and the date and time for bid opening clearly and legibly marked on the outside.

Products and prices included in the Quotation may not be withdrawn for a period of Sixty (60) days after the date of Quotation opening without the express written consent of the City.
