Sealed bids will be received by the City of Manhattan, Kansas, at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1101 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas, until 3:00 P.M., on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after said time will be returned to the bidder unopened. These bids will be for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and performing all the Work in accordance with the drawings and specifications for:

The project will include but is not limited to the following approximate major categories of work:

1. MILLING (2” UNIFORM) 55,552 SY

2. 2” OVERLAY (HMA COMMERCIAL GRADE (CLASS A)(58-28)) 6,041 TONS

3. PAVEMENT MARKING (LONG LINES)(VARIOUS) 21,836 LF

4. TRAFFIC CONTROL 1 LS

TIME LIMIT: Milestone 1 – Westwood Road, Juliette Avenue / Ehlers Road, and 11th Street:

Substantial Completion and Pavement Markings by August 7, 2026

Final Completion: October 31, 2026

The Contractor’s operations in the prosecution of the work shall be continuous until complete unless otherwise approved by the Engineer, in accordance with Section R.
