Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for ASO Snowmobiles Purchase

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The combined synopsis/solicitation number is 1240BF25Q0055 and is issue as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to establish a Firm-Fixed-Price contract.

The combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-05, effective 7 August 2025.

This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. In accordance with FAR Clause 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside. Offers are solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected.

The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336999, All Other Transportation Equipment Manufacturing. The NAICS Code was identified through a review of the U.S. Census Bureau’s website where Snowmobiles and Parts Manufacturing was listed as a corresponding index category. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees.

Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) Structure: Refer to Schedule of Items and Price Sheet (Attachment 2).

Description of Requirement: The Contractor shall provide 2 brand new snowmobiles for the Forest Service Anchorage Supervisor’s Office (ASO) as described in the Product Specifications (Attachment 1).

Delivery Location: The contractor shall deliver the required item(s) to the address(es) below no later than 31 December 2025.
