Asbestos Removal at Granger & Phelps

Phelps Elementary School library the Town of Agawam, MA in accordance with the accompanying plans and specifications prepared by Atlas Technical Services, LLC.  The project shall begin immediately upon Notice of Award and Notice to proceed and be substantially complete by July 18, 2025.

The project will consist of:  asbestos removal work at Agawam Granger Elementary School and Phelps Elementary School. All work shall be performed by a Massachusetts licensed Asbestos Abatement Contractor and all material shall be removed and disposed of in accordance local, state and federal  regulations.  All of which is described in the attached procurement package.

Quotes should be mailed or emailed to Jennifer Bonfiglio, Chief Procurement Officer, 36 Main Street, Agawam, MA  01001, Email: For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. , and received no later than the date and time specified above.  Proposals must be received before 2:30 PM May 29, 2025.   All quotes must be endorsed with the name and business address of the Proposer and marked "Project # 25-192-009 Asbestos Removal at Granger & Phelps".

All contractors should submit pricing using the Form for Quote. The contractor must complete the non-collusion and tax-compliance form. The contract will be awarded to the most responsive contractor with the lowest quote. The person awarded the contract will be required to sign the Town’s Owner Contractor Agreement.

A non-mandatory Pre-bid Conference/site inspection will be held at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at the site, 128 Southwick Street Agawam, MA  01001.   Contractors may meet at the front entrance.

Proposals are subject to M.G.L. c.149 sec.44A(2)(A) and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

The Town of Agawam reserves the right to reject any or all of the quotes if it deems it to be in the public interest to so do.
