Asbestos Abatement

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

Notice is hereby given that the Planning & Community Development Manager of the City of Joplin, Missouri, will receive a sealed bid to make the following improvements in the City of Joplin, Missouri.

For the Asbestos Removal for the following location(s):

1509 S. Picher Ave

101 S. Sergeant Ave (garage only)

This is a package bid and the submitted cost must cover the work needed on all listed properties. Individual bids will not be accepted. Property addresses are subject to removal or additional property addresses could be to an amended the request.

Specifications are on file in the office of the Planning & Community Development Manager, 602 S. Main Street 4th Floor. Bids must be in the hands of the Planning & Community Development department on or before 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 15, 2026. The successful bidder will be required to be licensed, Bonded and insured as a contractor of the City of Joplin, Missouri. The Planning & Community Development Manager reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the lowest or best bid.
