Arts and Culture Master Plan

The City of Soldotna hereby invites qualified consultants to provide proposals for professional planning services for the development of an Arts and Culture Master Plan for the City of Soldotna.

The scope of work will include: identifying and cataloging existing arts and cultural resources in the community, conducting public engagement, facilitating the establishment of goals and priorities for the city to support and enrich arts and cultural assets, developing a framework to better incorporate arts and culture into long-term planning and economic development efforts, and developing a master plan document. The development of Soldotna's Arts and Culture Master Plan should be guided by input from local stakeholders. The City seeks a responsive and timely partner, advisor, and experienced consultant in arts and culture master planning. The selected consultant will provide consultation, advice and guidance as requested and related to the development and success of this project.

The RFP does not commit the City to award a contract, nor to pay any of the costs incurred in the preparation and submission of proposals in anticipation of a contract. The City of Soldotna reserves the right to waive irregularities and accept or reject any or all proposals.

Electronic submission or six (6) complete sets of the proposal package are to be submitted to the City of Soldotna at address shown above. Hard copy forms must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the proposer's name on the outside and clearly marked:

Proposals and forms must be emailed to publicworks@soldotna.org or delivered to the above address no later than 4:00 P.M AKST on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

A pre-proposal conference will be held on January 18, 2023 at 10:00A.M on Zoom. To receive instructions on joining the Zoom conference, please contact Breauna Blanning by phone (907-714-1241) or email ( PublicWorks@soldotna.org ). Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.

The project documents may be obtained from the City of Soldotna web site at www.soldotna.org/government/rfps-and-invitations-to-bid . To receive project addendums, you must be on the plan-holders list. To be placed on the plan-holders list, please contact Breauna Blanning either by phone (907-714-1241) or email ( PublicWorks@soldotna.org ). Downloading projects from the City web site does not automatically put you on the plan-holders list.
