ART BUILDING - REPLACE GLASS FURNACE ROOM ROLL UP DOOR

Project Description: Provide all labor necessary to replace a roll up door for the glass furnace classroom. The proposed work shall generally include, but not limited to replacing the left side (Mauka) roll up door equipped with firegard chain operator and fuselink. Refer to the mechanical section for detailed description of work. All work is located at the Art Building, University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Special Instructions

All interested bidders are requested to attend a mandatory site walk through. A site walk through is scheduled for 9:00 am on January 7, 2026. Contractors shall meet at the Art Bldg./Bilger Addition contractor loading zone located at 2545 McCarthy Mall. Contract documents will be distributed at the site walk through. Contractors interested in bidding for this work must contact Alton Fujimoto through email, altonf@hawaii.edu, or phone at 808 864-4161 to confirm attendance by 4:00 pm January 6, 2026. Contractors that do not attend a mandatory site walk through, will not be allowed to bid for this work.
