ARPA: Sgoda Road Water Improvements - Div. A

Twiggs County Board of Commissioners will accept sealed bids for the project titled Water System Improvements ¿ Division A to serve Sgoda Road. Bids are accepted until, April 1, 2026, at 11:00 am at Twiggs County Board of Commission, Jeffersonville, Georgia. Bids shall be submitted at the Board of Commissioners office, 425 Railroad Street, P.O. Box 202, Jeffersonville, Georgia, 31044 ATTN: Wilmarie Liz. All Bids will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days.

Contractor License: Any contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by the State of Georgia. License numbers must be written on the face of the bid envelope. No bid will be opened unless it contains the Contractor¿s license number. See instructions to Bidders for additional bidding requirements.

Work To Be Done: The work to be done shall consist of furnishing materials and constructing the project titled Water System Improvements ¿ Division A. The major items of construction include 9,000 linear feet of 10¿ water main; 300 linear feet of dry jack and bore under Interstate 16; gate valves; fire hydrants; water services; and miscellaneous appurtenances. The work is considered an expansion of the water distribution system. All work shall be done in accordance with the plans and specifications.
