The City of Kingman is soliciting quotes for Six (6) 395/85R20 All-terrain tires installed on MRAP vehicle . The City reserves the right to reject any quote. This procurement is being solicited as an Intermediate Purchase where an informal competitive process is required.

Background

The City of Kingman follows a procurement code that requires the following levels of approval and thresholds:

Direct Purchases: $0 - $5,000.99 = The Department can select the vendor without obtaining quotes or completing a formal solicitation (but shall provide competition when practical).

Intermediate Purchases: $5,001 - $49,999.99 = The Department must establish written specifications and solicit a minimum of three (3) written quotes before selecting a vendor.

Formal Purchases: $50,000 + = The Department must complete the formal process of competitive sealed bidding or competitive sealed proposals. The Council must award the contract and the Department does not have the authority to make such selection.
