The Ammunition Holding Area was maintained by a team provided on order from Letterkenny Army Depot. Due to budget cuts and draw downs in the Army, the military team could no longer provide repair services at the AHA. The AHA must be accessible 24/7 to all units on Fort Jackson and is critical to mission success of BCTs and supporting units. The unpredictable weather in the Fort Jackson area contributes to unforeseen malfunctions of the system, and it is critical that the system be repaired immediately to not interfere with unit missions. There are no assets on Fort Jackson that can provide services required to maintain the AHA fully functional. This contract is critical to the mission and safety of Soldiers in training.
Be advised, the Government is planning to award one New Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to this solicitation.
Note: Site Visit scheduled for 11 October 2024 at 1:00 pm has been rescheduled for 15 October 2024 at 1:00 pm.
