Arena Naming Rights

Town of Vail is seeking professional consulting services for the development of advertising, naming rights and sponsorship valuation. The professional services will include working with staff for program development, including solicitation and evaluating proposals, negotiating naming rights and/or sponsorship agreements for Town of Vail facilities. The Town of Vail currently offers multiple indoor and outdoor facilities that accommodate diverse event activity.

A significant and near-term opportunity is the town-owned “Dobson Arena”, scheduled for a $56M redevelopment starting April 2025. The redeveloped Dobson Arena will continue to be an ice rink facility, hosting sports teams, tournaments and ice skating. However, the newly designed arena will also be able to host a number of events such as concerts and corporate events, with seating capacity of 1,400 for hockey events and up to 3,500 for concerts including standing room only areas. Dobson Arena is located in the heart of Vail, between Vail Village and Lionshead Village, surrounded by premium hotel and lodging properties and close proximity to the base of Vail Mountain.
