Request for Statements of Qualifications for Architectural Services for planning and design for a mixed-use facility
Introduction
The City of Cleveland is requesting Statements of Qualifications for architectural services for design and planning services for the development of a 6,000 to 8,000 square ft. mixed-use type facility to include transitional housing and emergency shelter for families and individuals experiencing homelessness. The City of Cleveland is seeking firms with documented experience in design and implementation of housing or community facility type of projects.
Scope of Services
The selected firm shall have experience in the design and construction implementation of similar type projects.
Other duties that may be required to facilitate a successful program, but that have not been anticipated in the call for services.

Experience and Capacity

History of the firm’s experience providing design services

Description of the firm’s organizational structure and the names and experience of key individuals

How the firm will complete the scope of work.

Responses should include at least three (3) references for similar services that were provided for previous clients. Please include name of the previous clients, contact information of the main point of contact, and scope of work.
Selection Criteria and Process
Responding firms will be evaluated by a selection committee and ranked based on the scope of work and the following criteria:

Experience and ability to complete the scope of work in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines: 25 points

Experience in design of mixed-use facilities :30 points

Approach and understanding of project: 20 points

Experience working with grant funded projects: 15 points

Quality of performance on similar projects: 10 points
The awarded firm is required to have an active SAM registration. Firm will be required to provide proof of registration prior to the execution of the contract.
