Architect for New Public Works Service Center

The City of Hutto, a home-rule municipality, is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from experienced and qualified architectural firms or teams ("RESPONDENTS") to provide comprehensive architectural services for the design and construction of the City’s new Public Works Service Center ("the PROJECT"). The scope of services will include full architectural design, preparation of construction documents, support during the bidding process, and construction administration. The selected firm will act as the lead design consultant and will play an integral role throughout all phases of the project.

Respondents should demonstrate substantial, recent experience in leading design teams on projects of similar size and complexity, particularly within the public sector . Preference will be given to firms that have successfully completed comparable facilities such as public works service centers, maintenance yards, or operations centers.

The City of Hutto reserves the right to determine the sequence of selections to optimize the project’s outcomes. The Architect will be responsible for assembling and managing a qualified team of design professionals and consultants necessary to deliver a complete, coordinated, and constructible design package. Close collaboration with the Owner will be essential to achieving the City’s objectives for quality, schedule, and cost control.
