Aquatic Staff Audits, Inspections and Safety Training Services

A. The Contractor must provide aquatic staff audits, inspections of the County-owned swimming pools, and audits of the current safety training procedures and/or practices and provide additional training to aquatic staff.

B. These audits must include, but are not limited to, the following:

i. Meeting with facility staff at each location to discuss the auditing process and meeting with staff to obtain required information for reports and recommendations.

ii. Providing a minimum of three (3) audits for each location, annually, of which one (1) will be unannounced. iii. Evaluating in-service training programs at each facility, making recommendation and assisting in providing additional training to aquatic staff.

C. The Contractor’s inspections should include all mechanical, chemical, structural, and safety features of the facility.

D. All standards will be evaluates based on the American Red Cross and Montgomery County, MD Health Department codes regarding swimming pools.
