DNR is considering an acquisition in Thurston County for inclusion in the Woodard Bay Natural Resources Conservation Area (NRCA). The purchase is grant-funded by Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program, administered through the state Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO), and the National Coastal Wetlands Conservation Grant Program, administered through the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).
