The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to onboard up to five (5) additional contractors to an existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for construction services. The comprehensive scope of the construction services shall include the following: Energy savings; Selective demolition sustainable SITES/LEED construction; Waterproofing/structural repair of foundations; Rehabilitation of parking garages; Code compliance; Rehabilitation, restoration, and preservation of historic structures and building facades; Fire alarm and fire sprinkler/systems upgrade; Protection systems for facilities and grounds; Roof replacement; Temporary facilities; Emergency power/electrical upgrades, Design/Build Construction; Lighting protection; Building fall protection; Vertical transportation (elevators, escalators); Food service equipment and cafeterias; Garage rollup doors, loading docks upgrades, and alteration; Off-site Data Center upgrades/renovations; Central Power Plant heavy mechanical renovations and upgrades; MEP or HVAC upgrades/replacement; Building automation and direct digital controls; Electrical, lighting, fire alarm system, security alarm system, including cameras and smart metering; General carpentry, casework, general interior space modernization, trim work, and door installation and repairs; paving, sidewalk, and landscape work; and Perimeter security infrastructure.
Details on the required services will be provided in individual Task Orders (TO). Detailed information on required qualifications and past experience will be contained in the solicitation documents.
The existing MACC IDIQ has the following period of performance:
Base Year: March 1, 2021 – Feb 28, 2022 (Completed)
Option Year 1: March 1, 2022 – Feb 28, 2023 (Completed)
Option Year 2: March 1, 2023 – Feb 29, 2024 (Completed)
Option Year 3: March 1, 2024 – Feb 28, 2025 (Current Option)
Option Year 4: March 1, 2025 – Feb 28, 2026
Option Year 5: March 1, 2026 – Feb 28, 2027
Option Year 6: March 1, 2027 – Feb 29, 2028
Option Year 7: March 1, 2028 – Feb 28, 2029
It is anticipated that the RFP contemplated by this Pre-Solicitation Notice will result in awards to onboarded contractors within Option Year 4.
The RFP and any subsequent amendments will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about December 2, 2024 on the Contract Opportunities website at SAM.gov. Please be advised the date for solicitation posting is estimated and the actual posting date may be after the aforementioned estimated date.
