NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (hereinafter referred to as “CFPUA” or “the Authority”) intends to procure a qualified contractor for the provision of an annual system wide large meter testing program.

Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) is located in Wilmington, NC and currently serves more than 75,000 homes, businesses and industries. There are approximately 1,452 2” or larger water meters in the service area. CFPUA is seeking a contractor experienced in meter testing. The purpose of this project is to test large meters in accordance with AWWA recommendations and create an annual report.

CFPUA plans to release a construction bid at a later date to begin replacing meters identified by this project. The selected contractor awarded the Annual System Wide Large Meter Testing project will be ineligible to submit a bid for the construction portion released later.
