Annual Service Agreement for AquaC UNO H Reverse Osmosis Machines

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), on behalf of Walter Reed National Military Medical Clinic (WRNMMC), 8901 Wisconsin Avenue Building 54 Bethesda, MD 20889 intends to issue a single award, firm fixed price, Purchase Order (PO) on sole source basis to Fresenius USA, Inc. located at 920 Winter Street, Waltham, MA 02451-1521.

The award will be made under the statutory authority permitting other than full and Open Competition, FAR Subpart 13.5(a) Sole source (including brand name) acquisition. This agreement is to provide a standard service agreement for six (6) AquaC UNO H Reverse Osmosis Machines for use with Fresenius Hemodialysis machines. The unit is intended to remove organic and inorganic substances and microbial contaminants from the water used for treating hemodialysis patients or related therapies. It is also intended to be a component in a complete water purification system.

The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811210 – Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by responding to this notice no later than 10:00am EST, Friday, February 28, 2025 by email to miriam.t.railey.civ@mail.mil and cc: pamela.i.renteria.civ@health.mil. All information submitted should support the offeror’s capability to provide the services required and shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the sole source award.
