Annual Requirements Contract for Open Channel Maintenance

Project Description: The Open Channel Maintenance Program consists of removing vegetation, sedi-ment, and debris from City owned waterbodies and gabions to help reduce the risk of flooding and erosion to drainage channels. The contract will be for a period of 12 months beginning on the construction start date as indicated in the Notice to Proceed letter. The contract may be renewed at the option of the City for two (2) additional one (1) year periods under the same terms and conditions of the initial contract, if mutually agreed upon by both parties. For bidding purposes, it is estimated that the city will spend approximately $175,000.00 for this project.
