ANNUAL FIRE EXTINGUISHER SERVICES - PR269010

A)        Purpose and Description of Services

Contractor shall furnish all labor necessary to perform annual fire extinguisher service on all ABC, CO2 and Class K fire extinguishers, (see Exhibit A) located at the Porterville Developmental Center.  The contractor will provide for the removal, repair, or replacement of needed parts and any hydrostatic testing for all 5-, 10-, and 20-pound extinguishers.  All work to be completed in compliance with Title 19, Division 1, Chapter 3, and NFPA 101.  See Exhibit A of the IFB for the description of required services.   The terms of this Agreement will be July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029.

B)        Bidder Minimum Qualifications

All bidders must meet the following requirements to be considered responsible and responsive to this IFB.

1.        Bidder must possess a current and valid Type D and Type F License through the State Fire Marshall¿s Office.

2.        Bidder must possess a C-16 Fire Protection Contractor.

3.        Service Technicians must possess a current and valid Certificate of Registration through the State Fire Marshall¿s Office.

4.        Bidder must be able to respond to PDC within 90 minutes.

5.        Bidder¿s licenses will be validated with the Central Valley Regional State Fire Marshall¿s Office.  Bidders not accredited by the Central Valley Regional State Fire Marshall¿s Office will be disqualified
