Annual Contract to Provide Local Emergency Transportation for Displaced Citizens

Project Description: The Chatham County Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) is seeking to solicit sealed proposals to establish an annual contract with an entity to provide members of the public who are displaced from their homes during disaster/emergency situations with transportation assistance to local shelters/lodging. CEMA is requesting community resources and partnership in supporting this need to support our community in challenging times. NOTE: This transportation support is not the same as mass evacuation transport where the public population is evacuated from the County to other areas of the state. This RFP is for local transportation on a smaller scale. Additionally, this transportation does not request drivers to enter restricted, unsafe environments, or perform the role of Emergency Medical Services transportation.
