Announcement: New Insurance Certificate Tracking System

The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) will transition to a new insurance certificate tracking services vendor; Vertikal RMS, Inc., effective, January 17, 2025 to perform the following duties on behalf of SAWS:

• Audit your company’s insurance certificate(s) to determine if the coverage reflected on the certificate(s) meets insurance requirements, per the associated contract.
• Request your company’s certificate(s) of insurance, if there are any deficiencies and/or they need a revised certificate of insurance.
• Follow up with your company if the documentation received does not meet the stated certificate requirements.

An Announcement letter was sent via email to existing vendors on December 20, 2024 and distributed again on December 27, 2024.

Please expect an introductory letter from Vertikal within the next few weeks with additional details regarding added benefits of the new system and instructions on how to access the CertFocus by Vertikal system to view your company’s contract insurance details and provide instructions for uploading certificates of insurance (if needed).
