NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ocean County Board of Health is seeking quotations for Animal Spay and Neutering for the period beginning January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026.
Background Information:
The Ocean County Board of Health is tax-exempt government unit. The award of an open-end contract for the provision of veterinary surgical services for the spay/neuter of dogs and cats owned by Ocean County residents that demonstrate financial need or who otherwise qualify for the New Jersey Animal Population Control program is anticipated to be made in November 2025 based on the most advantageous terms, price and other factors considered. Interested parties must submit quotes by October 23 at 11 a.m. Vendors and contractors are required to comply with applicable New Jersey public purchasing requirements; information on requirements and a link to the E-Procurement platform can be found at:

General Requirements:
1. Quotes for the spay and neuter of cats and dogs are being requested. The service must be performed by veterinarian(s) licensed in New Jersey to perform veterinary services.
2. Upload proposed pricing per animal and upload additional information/certification form in the E-Procurement portal.
3. Vendor/contractor shall provide a copy of its W-9 before award of contract.
4. Vendor/contractor shall provide a copy of the New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and Iran, Russia and Belarus prohibited activities disclosure before award of contract.
5. Vendor/contractor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the Ocean County Board of Health as additional insured for General liability in a minimum amount of $1,000,000.00 per claim and $2,000,000.00 aggregate before award of contract.
