Animal Litter

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ocean County Board of Health is seeking quotations for animal litter for the period January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026.

Background Information:

The Ocean County Board of Health is tax-exempt government unit. The award of a contract for the provision of approximately 65,000 pounds based on 2024-2025 usage is anticipated to be made in November, 2025. Interested parties must submit quotes by October 23, 2025 at 11 a.m. The Ocean County Board of Health (OCBH) will consider proposals for a two-year contract or a one-year contract with an option to extend for one-year at the discretion of the OCBH. General Requirements:

1.   Quotes for non-clumping animal litter, preferably in 25 pound bags, are being requested. If an equivalent alternative is proposed, specifications for the alternative must be provided.

2.   Provide line item pricing and complete and upload certification in E-Procurement portal.

3.   If any warranty in addition to that of fitness for the purpose is included and/or available, provide information on such with quote.

4.   Vendor/contractor shall provide a copy of its W-9 before award of contract.

5.   Vendor/contractor shall provide a copy of the New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and Iran, Russia and Belarus prohibited activities disclosure before award of contract.

6. Vendor/contractor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the Ocean County Board of Health as additional insured for General Liability in a minimum amount of $1,000,000 per claim  and $2,000,000 aggregate before award of contract.
