The City of Victorville is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide and install resinous (epoxy) flooring systems at the Animal Care & Adoption Center Administrative Building. The project includes surface preparation and installation of durable flooring systems in both general-use areas and wet-use areas, such as the grooming room, veterinary treatment (RVT) room, and kennel areas. The goal is to enhance the facility’s functionality, cleanliness, and long-term durability.

This project is designed to improve operational efficiency by providing seamless, non-porous, and easy-to-maintain flooring suitable for animal care environments. The City is seeking experienced contractors capable of delivering a high-quality installation that meets the specified performance requirements while coordinating with ongoing facility operations.

The Animal Care & Adoption Center Administrative Building supports a range of daily operations including animal intake, veterinary care, grooming, and administrative functions. Existing flooring conditions in several areas are worn and not ideally suited for the level of cleaning, moisture exposure, and operational demands typical of an animal care facility. This has created ongoing maintenance challenges and limitations in maintaining optimal sanitation standards.

This project aims to upgrade the facility with durable, seamless resinous flooring systems that are better suited for both general-use and wet-use environments. Key areas such as the grooming room, RVT room, and kennel space require flooring capable of withstanding frequent washdowns, exposure to animal waste, and cleaning chemicals. A successful project will result in a long-lasting, easy-to-maintain flooring system that improves overall functionality, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
