Title: Animal Adoption Trailer
Addenda: 0
Release Date: 12/31/2025
Due Date: 2/4/2026
We’re building a single, purpose-built Adoption/Rescue Trailer for the Alachua County Animal Resources department. This mobile unit will travel to communities across our area, providing a safe, comfortable space for animals and an efficient setup for staff and partners to meet potential adopters. The goal is to make it easier to move homeless pets from shelters to loving homes, with strong attention to sanitation, climate control, and reliable utilities that hold up under outreach events and rescue operations.
We’re looking for skilled vendors with solid experience in trailer fabrication and turnkey buildouts who can deliver a durable, compliant asset on time and within budget. Proposals should show thoughtful design, quality materials, safety and warranty coverage, and a clear plan for project management, weight/dimension control, and post-delivery support. This trailer will be a community-facing asset that broadens the department’s outreach and helps increase adoptions while upholding high standards of animal welfare.
