The Board of County Commissioners of Hernando County, Florida, ("the County"), is soliciting Vendors/Contractors that are active in construction activities to improve the intersection of Anderson Snow Road and Corporate Blvd.

The Vendor/Contractor will supply all materials, labor and equipment in order to accomplish the Anderson Snow Rd at Corporate Blvd Intersection – SCOP project, as described in the specifications and construction plans showing the proposed improvements in Hernando County, Florida.

Offers for furnishing the above will be received and accepted up to 10:00 am , local time, Monday, October 28, 2024 , via the Hernando County Procurement Department eProcurement Portal . Only electronic submittals shall be accepted by the County.

The Board of County Commissioners of Hernando County, Florida, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received in accordance with the Bid Documents and the Hernando County Procurement Ordinance.

The Procurement Department will post addenda on the County’s eProcurement Portal to all questions in accordance with the Solicitation Instructions. It is the responsibility of prospective Bidders to visit the eProcurement Portal to ensure that they are aware of all addenda issued relative to this Solicitation.

Due to growth and development, there is a need to improve the intersection of Anderson Snow Road and Corporate Boulevard. The improvements are to reconstruct and widen existing Anderson Snow Road. This improvement will be an interim improvement to set up Anderson Snow Road for an ultimate typical Four Lane section in the future, including a 22’ median, and curb and gutter as well as a southbound left turn lane and a northbound right turn lane. A portion of Corporate Blvd. shall be reconstructed with paved shoulders and provide westbound left and right turn lanes. Drainage improvements to Anderson Snow will include adding swales and conveyance systems to the existing Drainage Retention Areas (DRA). A new traffic signal will be added to the intersection. Additional improvements include intersection lighting per FDOT criteria, ADA sidewalks, curb ramps, and new signage and pavement markings, along with HCUD and private utilities relocation.

It will be the Vendor/Contactor's responsibility to provide an acceptable MOT plan at the Pre-Construction meeting along with a chart showing the project schedule.

The Vendor/Contractor shall comply with all applicable OSHA workplace safety requirements and shall accomplish the work in a manner providing for the safety of their equipment and workers and for the safety of the general public.
