Bids for 600 Amp City Hall service disconnect will be received by Centerville City at the Centerville Public Works Building, 655 North 1250 West, Centerville, Utah 84014, until 2:00 PM on September 24, 2025; and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Contractors must hold an active E200 license to bid on this project. This project is to be awarded to lowest qualified bidder based on the “Total Base Bid”.

The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, tools, backfill materials, concrete, equipment transportation and services required for the construction of the above, described project as included below.

a. Remove the existing feeder cables from the transformer to the main electrical room, if needed.

b. Excavate and intercept the existing underground conduits in front of the utility transformer.

c. Provide and install material for a free-standing support rack for the new service gear and redirect the conduits to the rack. Install a 36" heavy duty ground level access (Junction) box and make rated underground connections in the box for the feeder conductors extending to the main electrical room.

d. Provide and install a Nema 3R, 600A 3P Main Disconnect Switch to the east and parallel with the fence. Install grounding system. Pull in new feeder cables from the transformer to the disconnect and from the disconnect to the ground level junction box

e.  Re pull and install existing feeder cables from the newly installed Main Disconnect to electrical room and reconnect cables in electrical room, if they were removed in “a”

e. Compact the trenches and pour in new concrete.

When power to be shut off to building, work is to be done during approved overnight and/or weekend hours. Power disconnect from utility company will need to be coordinated and scheduled with Rocky Mountain Power. Power to remain on during all business hours.

Centerville City’s opinion of cost is $30,000

All Bids submitted shall be guaranteed by the Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the Bid opening.

The Owner hereby reserves the right to reject any or all bids presented or to waive any informality in a bid and to make award or refuse to make award in the best interest of the Owner.
