Description
Fisheries and Oceans Canada owns, operates, and maintains a Canadian Coast Guard Base at 370 Dalhousie Street in Amherstburg, Ontario. The facility supports the operation of a number of departmental programs including aids to navigation, fleet, marine search and rescue, air support, maritime and civil infrastructure, and administration of the Amherstburg sub-district operations of the Canadian Coast Guard.
Proposed Work comprises installation of galvanized steel bar grating and stainless steel guardrails and handrails on an existing concrete stair and ramp. Guardrails and handrails are to meet strict accessibility design standards. Aluminum expanded metal mesh will also be installed within existing ornamental fence panels.
All Work including shop drawing submission and review, material procurement, fabrication, and installation is required to be completed within ten (10) weeks of the Contract Award date.
The estimated contract period will be 2.5 month(s).
