Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Powervar, Inc, for UPS Preventive Maintenance. Powervar is the manufacturer and the ONLY source authorized to perform maintenance. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. The Limited Source Documentation form is attached with this notice The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code is 335999 and the requirement is not a total small business set-aside. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See attached for details
