Notice is hereby given that the Planning & Community Development of the City of Joplin, Missouri, will receive sealed bids to make the following improvements:

The City of Joplin is receiving sealed bid for the asbestos removal of the following address(s):

405 W. 2 ^nd Street/ 126 S. Pearl Ave; one structure

1809 E. 32 ^nd Street

119 1/2 S Moffet Ave (garage only)

1518 S. Sergeant Ave

1109 S. Moffet Ave

Bids must be in the hands of the Planning & Community Development Department on or before 10:00 A.M. on Friday, September 5, 2025 in the office of the Building Department, Joplin, 602 S. Main Street, 4 th Floor, Joplin, MO.

This is a bid, and the submitted cost must cover the work needed on all listed properties. Individual bids will not be accepted.

The winning bidder must comply with all municipal codes and state regulatory requirements including but not limited to:

Notify the City of Joplin building division of the date of the abatement.

Further specifications are on file in the office of the Planning & Community Development Manager, 602 S. Main Street 4th Floor. The successful bidder will be required to be licensed, Bonded and insured as a contractor of the City of Joplin, Missouri. The Planning & Community Development Manager reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the lowest or best bid.
